We met in the fall of 2019 at a friend's housewarming in Brooklyn. Neither of us planned to stay long, but one conversation about the worst movies we had ever seen turned into three hours on a fire escape, and we have barely stopped talking since.
Last winter, on a quiet walk through Central Park, James asked the question and Emily said yes before he had finished. We called our families from a bench in the snow, and then we went home and made a very long list of everyone we wanted in the room.
Now we are getting married in the city where our story started, and we cannot imagine celebrating with anyone other than the people we love most. Please join us for a day of good food, great music and plenty of dancing.
A friend's housewarming in Brooklyn, and a conversation about terrible movies that lasted all night.
Dinner, a long walk home, and a promise to do it again soon.
Two weeks down the Pacific Coast Highway with a playlist we still argue about.
Our rescue beagle, who now runs the household.
A snowy walk through Central Park, and a very quick yes.
Thank you for being part of the story.
Love is patient, love is kind. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.
Love one another, but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
Thank you, your message has been posted.
So happy for you both! Cannot wait to celebrate with you. Wishing you a lifetime of love and laughter.
You two were made for each other. Congratulations, my dears!
Finally! Best of luck, see you on the dance floor.
